I love Chops for lunch. I find better value and I'd personally rather eat the large meal during the day. When I have Chops at night, food coma sets in because I'm so full and tired from sitting there.

We purchased ultimate dining package as we wanted to have our lunches included in the speciality restaurants, primarily sabor and chops. We are in a GS also

I don't know if it's a suite perk on Allure, but it's certainly included with the Ultimate Dining package.

Chops lunch is a suite and pinnacle perk on the Navigator. When we were

there the Hotel Director said it was the only ship in the fleet doing it that

way. He may or may not be wrong about that but I can say that we ate

for free at all the at sea days and loved it.

It went down to $17.60 on mine too. Am tempted to do it just to avoid the Windjammer on embarkation day.

 

That's one of the things I prefer on NCL...you can eat embarkation day lunch in MDR...a more pleasant way to start the cruise.

fyi..I also wanted embarkation day. I was given day 2 or day 7 as choices. Perhaps it can be changed once on board.
