How do you know you can bid for an upgrade?

Please can anyone tell me how soon after paying your final payment do you get an email letting you know you can put in a bid for an upgrade? We sail in 62 days. I made our final payment a week ago and haven’t heard anything yet.

Usually you receive the offer when you are 80 days out. Not everyone receives an offer. We never got an email but did have an offer on myncl.com

We got our upgrade bid, 80 days out, by email and my NCL. It’s 73 days now, and I keep reviewing our bids, the bid meter that shows poor to strong, keeps going to a higher dollar value! Not looking good😞

We received both email and in MyNCLquite soon after final payment; this was the first time we have.

Remember that not everyone gets the email to bid for an upgrade. Certain travel agencies do not participate also.

Thanks to you all for your help. I received a phone call from NCL today. This is available to U.K. guest but not on two back to back cruises. In future I will book any back to back as separate cruises. Thanks again.

Usually 80 days prior to departure, you will get a new MyNCL log on banner inviting you to bid.

Just curious...if you booked a 'guarantee', do they invite you to bid?

Yes - my wife and I booked an Outside Guarantee on the Dawn for the March 11 sailing and we have bid on a balcony

I have 2 connecting cabins - M3 balcony (that are cross referenced in NCL record). Has anyone gotten an invitation to bid on 2 bedroom suite?

Im guessing there's no guarantee that moving to 2 cabins would be located together...?

Doesn't work that way. You cannot combine both cabins and put them in the two-bedroom.
