erically Posted February 7, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2018 I was told that you could bring a small travel clothes steamer on board and I just want to make sure it will not be taken when I try to board. I know you cannot bring an iron, but my friend always brings her clothes steamer.

dmdiver Posted February 7, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 7, 2018 It's always been my understanding as well that steamers are not allowed. We've used the ironing board in the self service laundrette before. If you're concerned about ironing a delicate item, you may be able to take a damp towel with you to the laundrette & put it over your garment to iron it. The only thing we've ever ironed is hubby's cotton dress shirts. I think lots of people use the downy wrinkle release spray or hang in the bathroom during their shower.
