Tennant Posted February 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2018 We are planning a family cruise with our 15 month old for June. We have only ever cruised the Caribbean in the winter. How hot does it get and do you think it’s too hot for a baby? We are cruising Celebrity Equinox so he won’t be able to go in any pools. Rare Essiesmom Posted February 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2018 Temps in the Caribbean do not vary much throughout the year. Humidity may be a bit higher in summer. EM
cb at sea Posted February 14, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2018 The Caribbean is about the same temp throughout the year. The ship is air-conditioned inside, so that's always a place to go for a respite from the heat. Some folks will bring a blow-up Tub.....useful for both bathing in a shower, AND splashing on the pool deck!
Megdgr8 Posted February 15, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2018 took my 15 month old this past June on a 9 day cruise to the carribbean, we kept her hydrated when we got off the ship, lots of water & juice & milk only at breakfast & dinner.... we did a beach day at Coco Cay & had a cabana, which was great for staying out of the sun.. this August will be her second cruise, will do the same thing we did last year... Rare Keith1010 Posted March 6, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2018 June can be very hot and humid. Everyone should stay hydrated and use lots of sun tan lotion and a hat for the little one. Keith
