Coffeeluvr05 Posted February 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2018 Pretty sure the Grand Princess in Alaska was in this episode of Vacation Creation. Was kind of cool since we will be on her in September. Making me rethink some of our excursion choices. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Astro Flyer Posted February 25, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2018 Ah ok! Thanks! Never been on the Emerald either. Are they similar? The Emerald is sometimes referred to as a Super Grand-class ship with an additional deck (Riviera) of about 500 passengers. The Grand’s Skywalkers Lounge was removed several years ago due to structural concerns with that first shopping cart handle venue. It’s been replaced by The One5 Lounge. The Grand does have a complimentary Alfredo’s Pizzeria in the Piazza but only has pizza & not the multicourse menu on the Royal & Regal. Most Princess ships have the same venues in the same locations so it’s easier for me to get around the ship. :)
BarbinMich Posted February 26, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 26, 2018 Love this TV show and its host Jeff Corwin! We watch it every week even though we've done quite a bit of cruising, mostly on Princess. He tends to go to places we've never been to such as the Far East. It seems like he was going on Carnival ships until recently when he's switched to Princess. Sometimes he takes his family along. And his "excursions" are unique to the show and not offered to other pax. Lots of hands-on experiences with the local folks showing their traditional activities.
