Matt Barnard CD on the Grand

I saw that Matt Barnard is the CD on the Grand next month to Alaska. Just wanted to know if you have sailed with him and what your thoughts are. Thanks

Sailed with Matt twice, both time on Grand. Young, with tons of energy. He can really sing and hold his own. You will see him all over the ship and he did a short skit with the Magician Alex and got lots of laughs. He attended both of my Cruise Critic Meet & Greets and was kind enough to intro all those Ship's Officers that attended, I did not know. He does a wild / wacky Wake Show everyday. He'll always take time to speak to you, no matter how busy he is. He is a fun guy and very personable. Introduce yourself to him and he will remember you through the whole cruise. We'll see Matt on May 16, again.

Thanks for the info on Matt he sounds great. We will be on the Grand the 16th also can't wait and it will be our first Alaska cruise.

Had him in Feb to Alaska and he didnt seem to be too active on our cruise. Sang during welcome aboard show and never again. Maybe an off week who knows

He was our CD for the 3/23-4/7 Hawaii cruise. Tons of fun and always willing to chat. Once he learned your first name, he said hello every time he passed.
