New to HAL

Welcome to HAL One thing to know about your itinerary and this happens on all ships is the Bay of Biscay can be a rough run. Be prepared. We actually had no problems but there are times of the year it can get very rough. Much like the run from Seattle Washington USA up to Alaska.

So on that happy note, HAL offers some very good itineraries and many of us have been choosing HAL for long time - more low key and traditional than other cruise lines but the Konigsdam is the new kid on the block - larger and more flashy so our old rules about HAL no longer apply. But she has some great fans - never sailed her myself. Your reports back will be most welcome. I hope you have a wonderful time.

We sailed on Koningsdam to the Med last May for two weeks and we loved the ship. We've booked again for 2019. Perhaps if you tell us what specifically you're interested in, we could better answer your questions.
