Thanks for reading! You will have a great time on the Paradise. The Royal Palms does cater to children under 18, they just don't want them in the pool. Enjoy your cruise! :cool:

Patti begins her short tour around the Royal Palms. Here is our pool cabana…..

 

They have a beach volleyball court…..

 

Water sports are available to rent…..

Here is another view of the woman’s bathroom / changing room. The bathrooms were very clean…..

 

As soon as they started serving we got our first round of drinks. Jim and I ordered a bucket of Cayman beers, Patti had a mudslide, and Pat had a Cayman colada…..

 

I’m enjoying my first beer of the day……

 

 

A little while later we decided to order some lunch. Patti had the fish and chips…..

 

 

Jim chose the cheeseburger……

 

 

I had the conch fritters and nacho fries…..

 

 

Pat had a personal pizza which for some reason we didn’t get a picture of. All of the food was pretty good.

It looks like Jim has found a new friend……

 

We wanted to give the girls a little shopping time, so we left the Royal Palms a little after 1pm. Our final bill for the four of us for the drinks and lunch was $180.US. (Cayman $1.00 = $1.25 US ). We were not charged for the pool cabana which usually costs $75 US. There were plenty of cabs there to take us back to the tender landing area. After the girls finished shopping, we were back on the tender heading back to the Paradise…..

We were back on board the ship by 2pm. We made our way back to the cabin for a shower and a nap. Waiting for us was today’s towel animal…..

 

Around 6pm Patti and I went up to the Red Frog Rum Bar to have a few drinks with Winston. We decided to eat dinner at the Paris Lido Restaurant again. Patti just had some salads, but I had the short ribs which were very good, some fried shrimp, ziti, rice, and green beans.

 

Afterwards, we went to the casino, and we both weren’t doing so well. Tonight they were having their blackjack tournament, so as usual I decided to enter using my BOGO entries. It took me two tries but I made it to the top of the leader board…..

 

My score held up as the highest, for which I was given a hat, so I had made the final table. Here they are setting up for the finals……

 

We will be playing for $500 cash, a Ship on a Stick, and a seat in the $100,000 blackjack tournament on the Magic in September…..

The dealer is explaining the rules to the finalists…..

The game has begun…..

 

The dealer is killing everybody, so by the 5th hand I’m running low on chips. I decide to go all in. As luck would have it, the dealer is showing a 10, while I have a two card total of 15. Knowing that the dealer probably has a good hand, I have to pull a card, and by some miracle I catch a 6 for a total of 21…….

 

 

Going into the 6th hand there are only three of us left…..

 

 

One person busts out and now there are only two of us left……

 

 

After our chips were counted, going into the 7th and last hand, I couldn’t lose unless my opponent got insanely lucky playing the Lucky Ladies…….

Back at the cabin we find our turndown service for tonight. Our picture from the Diamond Party has arrived…..
