CruiserBruce Posted May 19, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 19, 2018 Google search a few of your ports. For example, "August weather Alesund". It will probably the same weather for all the ships in the area...;p
wheezedr Posted May 19, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 19, 2018 Fjords cruises are much like Alaska, pack for layers. Weather varies and changes. No one can predict that far out and averages are just that, averages.
paul929207 Posted May 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 19, 2018 Any projection is just a guess. Bring several layers as it may warm during the day.

hallasm Posted May 20, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 20, 2018 ... don’t forget. And rainy. 19 degree Celsius (65F)during the day. 12 C (55 F ) during night and 100 mm rain during the month. Layers is a good answer. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Velvetwater Posted May 20, 2018 #8 Share Posted May 20, 2018 We did a 10 day Jade cruise to Norway last year in August. Some days were dull and warm some were rainy and some were sunny. We would have our waterproofs on one day and then be hanging out in the pool the next. Layers and a good, light waterproof is key. We had summer wear and trousers and thin jumpers and all sorts. Also a light umbrella is handy. We also brought a lot of longer trousers/leggings as we were doing a lot of wandering in nature in ports.
