I booked last week when deposits were $49 and booked an ocean view room but now think I want to go ahead and get a balcony room. My question is since the $49 deposit is over, will I have to pay the difference in whatever the deposit is now if I change rooms?

If the $49 deposit sale is still on you may be able to book it under that special promotion. But if it’s over then you will have to make a normal deposit. Unless you wait for another sale or special promotion with reduced deposits.

I did not have to when I changed rooms. However, I did not change categories, just room within the category - so that might be a factor.

You would have to pay the full deposit if the sale is off and you are switching categories.

You will have to pay a full $500 deposit.

Ok. Thanks everybody. I'll just wait until they run another sale. Cruise is not until 12/2019 so I have a while.
