cb at sea Posted June 23, 2018 #26 Share Posted June 23, 2018 Just look at the expiration date. I had a crown come off on a Friday (of course, my dentist is closed on Fridays!) so I ran to the store and bought their last tube without checking the date......it had expired about 6 mos. ago, and the "glue" was to hard to even come out of the tube! My crown was pretty "tight fitting", so I did pop it back on...but was VERY careful all weekend. My dentist said I could have swallowed it....glad I didn't! Anyway...not all the dental glues are operative! Just so you know!
jsf Posted June 24, 2018 #27 Share Posted June 24, 2018 As a Dental Tech for 50 years a bit of advice, don't try to repair a tooth in a denture or partial with Super type glue as it eats at the plastic and will not hold. Just Sayin, J.
