Was in the C & A line on the Anthem and the person in front of me explained that in April she was medevaced off the Mariner after spending two days in a suite. They gave her 4 points.

She also wanted to get back on in Jordan and they said no. As I recall

That's what they do with hurricane cruises. If a 7 nighter gets shortened to a 4 nighter you still points for the 7 night.

It didn’t answer my question tho. If my cruise is 7 days and we are “stuck” at sea for 10 would I then receive 20 instead of the 14 I “signed” up for.

I ran through those offerings for next week. They are cruises under 60 days in advance or less. So that's after final payments. Nothing shouted out to me to book and actually didn't look to be much better rates than the cruise I just booked for 5 months out. However, I will say I've had great bonuses on cruises I've already booked with price reductions.

 

Plan to retire to FL so I can cut out the flights and do some of those last minute cruises just to get away!

We had days cut short due to weather. The 4 day MJ prior to Irma lasted 3 days and got full credit. Folks on Oasis prior got extended to 10.

 

Not sure if those who stayed on MJ got 13 or so.

Yes, the post did answer your question. The original cruise was four nights. The person was traveling solo in a suite. The cruise ended up being seven nights. She received 21 points.

She's fine. Back then our kids were her sitter, they ran off to Atlanta and were not due back until Saturday. They did stay in town until we got off MJ on Thursday, so I dont fault them
