Personally, I think the OP should find another vacation option. It sounds like the internet is critical for his business, and it's just not that reliable at sea and you have very few options. If your customers expect 24*7*365 you're going to disappoint them.

 

 

Ok. I’ll cancel my reservations and forfeit the payments for the cabins.

I was just asking so I can be informed, prepared and set realistic expectations for covering engineers.

Funny I was on the Allure a few years ago with Voom it was so good I could stream from my DVR or Netflix and make voip calls that sounded better than a local cell call. I did do ssl VPN to work a couple of times. This was on a transatlantic. Going again in March 2019 will have to see how things have changed. I always bring a bag if connectors to let me hook up my devices using HDMI
