St. John on Your Own Tour - Princess excursion

What is the ferry ride like on the St. John on Your Own Tour (STT-295) from a Princess ship docked in Havensight?
 

Is it a very rough ride?  Are restrooms available?  Where do you board the ferry?

 

I've seen other threads mention that you have take a taxi to Red Hook to get to the ferry.  But, the Princess website doesn't mention that.  The description just says board the ferry - without mentioning anything about getting to Red Hook.

We took this same Princess excursion in January (2018),  

You board the ferry from Havensight where you are docked.  

Restrooms are on this ferry.

Might or might not be a rough ride.

Some ships charter a boat for their excursion to St John so their guests don't have to take the public ferries. It's a longer boat ride than the ferry from Red Hook and water conditions on either ferry vary.

We did the Celebrity Cruise DIY to St. John (November 2018) and it is likely very similar to other cruise line offers.
