Ocean Manor Beach Resort in North Fort Lauderdale

Anyone have any feedback on this hotel.  Saw excellent prices on a travel website but afraid to book, seems too good to be true.  Any help is appreciated.

TripAdvisor has 24% poor and terrible reviews for this hotel ...... very high.

Consider the hotel was on BOTH Bar Rescue and Hotel Impossible. Lol.   

 

However, 24% poor and terrible is misleading.  It has a 4 star rating out of 5 on TripAdvisor out of over 2,000 reviews.  Which means a good majority of people find it perfectly acceptable.  If you are happy with the pricing, I think you'll be just fine with this choice.  The tiki/restaurant on the beach is cool and the location is really good.

It's in desperate need of a remodel but the location is excellent.

 

Set the bar low and hope for the best.   I would absolutely book it.
