sjpsoccer14 Posted November 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2018 All of my previous cruises have been to the caribbean. Would anyone recommend this itinerary cruising to Hawaii? 11 NIGHT Hawaii Cruise LEAVING FROM:Vancouver, British Columbia, onboard Serenade of the Seas VISITING:Vancouver, British Columbia | Cruising | Kauai (Nawiliwili), Hawaii | Hilo, Hawaii | Kailua Kona, Hawaii| Maui (Lahaina), Hawaii | Honolulu (Oahu), Hawaii

CaribCruiser54 Posted November 20, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2018 Personally, with so many sea days from Vancouver to Hawaii, I'd choose Ovation for the greater number of activities and entertainment.

The September 2020 Ovation cruise is one day shorter and does not visit Hilo. I guess it depends on whether you prefer to visit more of Hawaii or have better entertainment and activity on the ship. Rare steamboats Posted November 21, 2018 #5 Share Posted November 21, 2018 I´m booked. And yes, the itinerary of the Serenade is better than that of the Ovation. Plus the price is absolutely great! steamboats

Biker19 Posted November 21, 2018 #7 Share Posted November 21, 2018 For anyone without the ability to get price drops, waiting may yield better pricing - the 2019 Ovation Hawaii prices were reduced drastically from initial availability.
sjpsoccer14 Posted November 21, 2018 Author #8 Share Posted November 21, 2018 Thank you for all of your advice! I just booked the Serenade 11 night. Let the count down begin!

pspercy Posted November 22, 2018 #10 Share Posted November 22, 2018 Go for it 🙂 We did this one on Radiance in 2014, a great trip in itself but then we went on to our timeshare and for once we arrived with no jet lag 🙂 So consider staying for a few days after the cruise ends, you won't regret it.
