What was your best Meet & Greet?

Mine was on the Escape last year, it was organized by maniacalcruiser and there was 275 people that attended. He arranged for a poker run (that my cousin won), a trivia contest, a gift exchange (with a funny story attached to it) random NCL prizes such as koozies, knapsacks, some NCL gift cards etc.

In my opinion the Escape did it better then any other I had attended (Jewel class/Breakaway class) as they held it in the District Brew house and had live music, drink samples, canapés etc.

I am trying to get other ther ideas besides the ones above so tell me what made your meet and greet special.

We have had some great ones and some bombs, but I think the best was our M&G on the first crossing on the Jewel. The thought of a new ship was awesome, the 10 day across the Atlantic no route was fun and we got to know more people from the M&G than we sometimes do. So many of us toured together on several ports. We ended with a farewell dinner the last night. That added extra fun.

Yeah, I'd say of all the ones on NCL the Escape have been the best.  Although the officers were there beforehand and mingling they didn't stay afterwards which was different than in the past but I'd probably prefer the more one on one than just a generic introduction of them.

However, MSC does have the best overall.

years ago on the  Dawn , each person got free  bottles  of  wine  and free dinners in the pay for  dining rooms, by  the  Hotel Director, his name was  Klaus, he is currently in Corporate, or at least last I heard.

We had seen him a few  times after on different  cruises, and he made  the cruise  special each time
