question on Any time Dining

We are experienced cruisers with many trips on Celebrity and prefer to make daily reservations for Any Time dining. On our last cruise from Bayonne to Bermuda  the line was so long on the 1st night for those with reservations that many left the line since the wait was 1 hour. Was this a fluke or have others run into this?  This only occurred on the 1st night and then returned to normal. Anyone else experience this as the new norm?

Usually, first nights are hectic until everyone, including staff get things under control.

Many of us believe that we are the only ones showing up at 6p for dinner and that is simply not the case... as such things need to get sorted out, which usually happens starting night two (2). Including some of us figuring out that arriving 15 - 20 minutes earlier or later than when we want to eat might be better or even dining 30+ minutes later and entertain ourselves until then.

We have found that making these types of 'small' adjustments makes for a better dining experience for us, our friends and wait staff.

bon voyage
