Uber To Port Everglades

I have seen several posts about taking Uber to Port Everglades with mixed comments.

Anyone have experiences with taking a Uber to Ports Everglades and return to hotels after cruise with Uber, Thank you.

I just took an Uber from Port Everglades in mid-January. Not a problem at all. Be sure to wait until you have all your luggage and head to the pickup spot.

 

By the way, if you are new to Uber, use a promo code before your first ride. You and the holder of the promo code get $5 off their next ride. If you need one, mine is 6y3g9.

We used Lyft and also had no problems to and from PE.  I found 4 rides at $5 off each ride for new accounts.  Worked great.

Re. Uber in PE.  Be sure to go to the pickup spot designated.  We waited in the wrong area and driver never tried to find us.  We were on Celebrity and pick up spot was just around the corner from the circle entrance. Finally got an uber driver who called and told us where she was.

Anyone know the approximate Uber price from FLL airport to Lauderdale e by the Sea?  Thanks for sharing your code.

You can get a pretty good estimate of the fare from the Uber website or from the app itself. Just plug in the pickup location and destination. You can do that anytime, just hit the button to Confirm Pickup. 🙂

When you take Uber or Lyft from the airport to Port Everglades, do you need to know the pier # your ship is at to enter for your destination or do you just enter Port Everglades? Thanks in advance.

I put inn pier 2 port everglades and once at PE we noticed it had changed.  Driver said no worries.

 

for pick up we were at pier 2 so it linked up with no problems.

Is an Uber or Lyft hard to come by on sail day in the morning in Ft Lauderdale?

I am debating on trying the hotel shuttle or calling Uber/Lyft to get from Ft Lauderdale hotel to Port Everglades RCCL pier...was thinking of 9:30 or 10am pickup time.

We had Lyft pick us up at the Hyatt Place at about 10:30.  Worked great.  No issues getting into port or to the ship.  Fare was about 7$ without the tip.

Usually easy - lots of drivers looking for rides.
