6 night cruise, 2nd and 6th days are sea days.

Elegant Chic evenings are not held on the last night of a cruise since that is the night that passengers need to spend time preparing for departure on the following morning (e.g.packing) rather than enjoying their entire evening to the extent that they can do on other evenings. This is true regardless of the number of nights included in the cruise.

Usually on a 7 night the 2nd evening chic night with better MDR menus would be next to last night. On a 6 night Silhouette Cruise, would they be likely to have the last night a nicer menu, or no? Considering booking a Specialty dinner if not.

I would think your second night would be chic night...

No reason to plan a speciality restaurant on chic night. When it was ‘formal night’ and many guests wore suits and gowns some guests would book the speciality restaurants to avoid wearing (and packing) formal wear. In our experience many guests on chic night don’t dress much different than they do on other evenings....Men just wearing smart open necked shirt and women a nice sundress or skirt/trousers and top, perhaps adding a colourful scarf or a little bling.

As to if it is a better menu it all depends on your preferences. The Silhouette has an excellent choice of speciality restaurants. If you are thinking of booking on board speciality restaurant deals can be different on different days and at different times, this may influence your choice too.

Have a great cruise!

Really? I've always seemed to hear the opposite... that chic nights are almost always on sea days.

Been on many Celebrity cruises  where Chic nights were on Port days, people just keep posting this but it is not true. Some they can’t help like every Bermuda cruise has 2nd Chic night on a Port day. Others it just works out that way.
