Cinque Terre Excursion

You can either do the ships excursion or catch the local boats or use the local train.Last time we went we intended to use the train and walked to the station(about 3/4 mile away) There is a special ticket office for Cinque Terre and you can easily visit all places. However all the trains were cancelled as there was a danger of a landslip! We found out later that the little boats and the ships excursion were cancelled too.If we went again I would still try and visit by train and it is the cheapest option

Last time we done it by train. Walked to station and it was all very simple. Buy ticket at station and off you go! We went right to end and worked our way back, others appeared to be doing it the other way round but we had a fab day! Beautiful views from all villages. Enjoy.
