So we are now in our London apartment. We settled on a Tower view room rather than a river view. The view is stunning.

You only see a little of the Belfast from our room.Le Boreal is next to her.

But we are close to the embarkation point.

Hope it moves before the Wind arrives!

That's as convenient as Table Bay Hotel when embarking/disembarking at the V&A Pier in Cape Town. The one and only time that a hotel porter could carry our bags to the ship for us. Great find - have a wonderful trip!

Just as a side remark: there are no cruise ships at V&A Terminal in Cape Town anymore. But there is another port, where the hotel porter could carry your luggage to the ship, this is Sydney (if you are in right terminal near the opera house).

Yes, you're right! We saw the cruise ship terminal when we were there last year. There's a nice Park Hyatt that's easily within walking distance.

I'd heard that they don't use V&A in CPT any longer. Too bad. That was great!

Duncan Dock in Cape Town is only a short walk from the V&A, maybe 10-15 minutes  at most and as a bonus the recently moved Panama Jacks is in the new Terminal building.
