Stairs into the pool(s) on the EDGE

Can someone tell me if any of the pools on the Edge can be accessed by stairs or do they all have ladders that you must use to get in and out?

No stairs but the ladders have really big flat rungs.  The indoor pool may have stairs though

Solarium pool has ladder.

All ladders.   No stairs. No chairlift device. Edge has a lot of weaknesses when it comes to handicap accessibility.

A review from a TA who sailed the Edge said:

" I did not personally get an opportunity to use the main pool or the smaller pool in the solarium. I also did not see the main pool lift installed, but I know they have one and you can make arrangements to use it with advance notice for the main pool. "

 

I did see a picture of the main pool lift in place a few months ago, but didn't see it in late January. I guess that's because it will only be installed when requested.

 

Her review had some interesting points, though as a TA she was quite positive and forgiving. I will post the link in one of the accessibility  threads since it would be off topic here. 🙂

There was a chair lift device at the Solarium pool. Didn’t notice other pools, as we mainly were at Solarium pool.

It’s great that they can move this device to where it is needed.    It is quite ugly and takes away from the aesthetics of the pool area.   Having it movable makes sense.

There was a lift at the main pool when I was on the Edge in January.
