Wendylet Posted April 17, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2019 We will be embarking on our cruise in June from the Barcelona cruise port. We are staying in a hotel for a few nights before and I am just wondering the best way to travel to the cruise port. We have actually done this before, many years ago, and I believe we took a taxi there but I can't recall if the taxi can enter the cruise port area or if they have to drop you off outside? I believe then you can take the dedicated bus to the correct terminal. I also see an option to catch this bus up by the Christopher Columbus monument. We may be able to take the metro to the close stop on La Rambla and do that also. Can anyone advise who has traveled either way as to the the convenience either method? Thanks so much. CruiserBruce Posted April 17, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 17, 2019 Agree...the taxis will take you direct to the terminal. The bus is only for people that arrive in the area by other than taxi or private transfer.

SbbquilterUT Posted April 18, 2019 #5 Share Posted April 18, 2019 Taxi was quick and easy from the city. We arrived at 11am after a nice brunch and walk along LaRambla to buy fresh flowers for the cabin. We were on board within 15 minutes. Enjoy Barcelona, one of my favorite cities to explore.
