Speciality Restaurants

Its been a while since I cruised and have forgotten such a simple thing.

 

Are the speciality restaurants open at lunchtime and if so are they just sea days/port days/ both?

There is sometimes  a one off lunch available with a smaller menu than the evening dinner menu but otherwise the speciality restaurants are only open in the evenings.

Also, sometimes the lawn club grill is open for lunch on those couple of ships, and I do not know the Edge arrangement.

On sea days Sushi on 5 is open for lunch and The Porch is open for lunch (not sure if only sea days). On the Edge Le Grand Bistro was open every day at lunch and Rooftop Garden Grill and Raw on 5 are open on sea days. As lovesscarborough said, we have often seen special lunches in other specialty venues during the cruise, such as at LCG, Tuscan, Fine Cut Steakhouse. It has usually has a few items from the menu at less cost than dinner. On our last cruise, they had a Crab Shack lunch at Tuscan, so was not from the usual menu.

On our last trip on The Eclipse, Murano had a special they offered for lunch. It was available one or two days on a 14-day cruise. We opted to purchase it and loved it. The food was outstanding and the service impeccable.

They are often open for lunch during one sea day during a 7 day cruise.  The menu is abbreviated and the cost reflects this.  This includes Murano, Tuscan Grill, Lawn Club Grill, etc.
