beaming90 Posted May 10, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2019 I have been looking at the deck plans, and I am not sure if I am just missing it but where is the infirmary? i need to have them hold a medicine in their fridge and what floor is the spa on? Rare VMax1700 Posted May 10, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2019 I think the infirmary is on 'A' Deck and only accessible from the forward elevators. (A Deck is below Deck 1, it is mostly crew access and entering/leaving ship when in ports of call. Spa is on Deck 9 (lido deck) also fully forward. Krazy Kruizers Posted May 10, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 10, 2019 The Infirmary is on Deck A -- and you do need to use the front elevators. I have been to that one.
beaming90 Posted May 10, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted May 10, 2019 Thanks guys! My med can stay unrefrigerated for up to 14 days but I would rather be safe then sorry.
beaming90 Posted May 10, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted May 10, 2019 Oh one more. I think our room is right below the Lido Market...Is that the buffet? I wonder if it will be noisy? Not that it matters too much, 7 days on a cruise ship is still better then 7 days at work... Right????
KroozNut Posted May 10, 2019 #6 Share Posted May 10, 2019 Yes, Lido Market is HAL's name for the Lido Buffet. We've never personally had a cabin directly below the Lido Market, but I would imagine that there may be some noise form all the activity directly above. And you are right, 7 days on a cruise ship (in any cabin) is definitely better than the alternative! 😃

Your Room Steward can provide a large bucket of ice to keep your meds cool or your minibar has temps in the mid 40's.

We have had a cabin under the pool area/Lido area and I thought it was noisy. Mostly the sound of moving chairs. It didn't bother me in the evening or at night but mostly in the afternoon. I am a big nap taker and my naps were not restful that cruise. And yes, 7 days on a cruise is better than 7 days at work!!! Love it!
