Mariazur Posted June 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2019 My husband and I have booked a seabourn cruise for Aug, I'm guessing we are on a guaranteed suite as we had a deal on it. So, we have paid for a Veranda Suite and so far have had a reply that was confirmation of suite, nothing allocated but stated as Catagory RB which then changed, yesterday, to SU. Has anyone any idea what these codes mean?
Mr Luxury Posted June 13, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2019 Not seen either on a Seabourn booking before.
Tillylovesseabourn Posted June 13, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2019 Are you sure you booked a Seabourn cruise? Never seen or heard of either before.
TT1992 Posted June 13, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2019 I looked this up, a couple of cruise travel sites have this..... It seems to be a balcony guarantee rate. But don't take my word for it ! 🙂

I think the OP should probably ask the company they booked with as these are not the codes Seabourn itself uses.
HPSOV Posted June 14, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 14, 2019 (edited) RB is the travel industry rate balcony guarantee category used in lieu of OB which is the normal balcony guarantee category. For a recent guarantee booking I had, SU appeared in manage my booking and I assume meant suite unassigned. This changed to my suite number when I was assigned one. I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Edited June 14, 2019 by HPSOV
raphael360 Posted June 30, 2019 #7 Share Posted June 30, 2019 This is what our reservations always look like on Seabourn's website until the magic day when we get our suite assignment - about 10 days out.
