whoopie Posted June 25, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2019 Debating if I need cardigans for aboard ships. I have a windbreaker for the airplane but wonder if I want something nicer for dining room and lounges and shows. With the number if people on the ship in a warm part of the world (Asia, summer), what is the indoor temperature?
Clarea Posted June 25, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 25, 2019 My wife usually wears a light sweater in the theater.
gerif Posted June 25, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2019 I’m usually cold. They sell faux pashminas in the gift shop in a multitude of colors and I usually get one.
whoopie Posted June 25, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted June 25, 2019 Thanks, just added another item to my packing list!
BearsAhoy Posted June 25, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 25, 2019 We did B2B on Voyager last year (25 days in total, I think, Sydney-South Pacific-Sydney-Singapore) and I found it uncomfortably warm in many public areas. (Chops especially.) Every other ship I’ve found chilly in public areas, so was very surprised.
whoopie Posted June 27, 2019 Author #6 Share Posted June 27, 2019 Interesting. People aboard now (in a FB group) are reporting that no sweater is needed.

whoopie Posted June 27, 2019 Author #8 Share Posted June 27, 2019 Yes, but. With ships I have been aboard I know whether the evening wrap is important. I like to pack only what will be useful. I might hedge my bets and pack a shawl which weighs less than a sweater or jacket.

Are they male or female? Regardless, better to have it and not need it than the other way around.
