Upgrade offered

On the Vista in January, in an inside on deck 7, midship.  Have been offered 3242 (obstructed oceanview) at the elevators for $96 more.  I am tempted to take it because of the extra room, but fearful of the noise from elvators and lobby.  Do you have experience with this area?  Would you take the offer?  Thanks!

being such a new ship I highly doubt you'll hear the noise. do a search on here you can probably find some information

It isn't the elevator noise.  It is the people talking and yelling while waiting at the elevators that is an issue

We've been in a cabin by the elevators and stairs and had no problem with noise, other than the typical loud people walking by, which can happen in any room. I'd go for it!

I like the occasional afternoon nap so I found the loud talkers annoying..

I got a terrible upgrade offer yesterday for my October cruise. Upgrade from a OV room to a Balcony for $400. No thanks.

For my Sept cruise saw offer on my phone by the time i logged in threw my pc 4 hours late it was NO Longer valid. Up sell going quick. Make the offer to everyone and wait for the first to take it?

I would take that offer. We have stayed near the elevator before with no noise problems. And you'll appreciate it every time you need to use the elevator!
