Has anyone attended the Prohibition Event on Allure?

Was it worth extra charge?

Details about it?

Did people dress in the theme?

Music and drinks. We dressed for the theme.

Is the Prohibition event for specific sailings? I've been checking various Cruise Compasses and I haven't seen any details on it.  We sail on Allure late 2020 and I'm very interested in attending!

It is usually in the planner so you can purchase before boarding. Quite fun with live music and old time drinks. There were several prizes given out at ours. One was for a short dance contest and other was a horse race raffle type. Recommend if you like jazz

Mostly gin based drinks to fit the era. When we went most people dressed up. We had a really great time.

My sister and I did it on the Oasis in 2014.  It was very fun but not that well attended; there were maybe 14 of us.  Yes, people dressed up; mostly a lot of feather boas for the women.  And the drinks were very strong.

It was awesome. Probably the most fun event we went to on the ship, and definitely worth the money.  Make sure you dress for it -- there is a costume contest.  🙂

I am very excited about this as well. We sail on Allure the 25th of August we are all set with Great Gatsby attire ready to go. I fully plan to get our $70 worth. I hope they make it nice for everyone seems pricey so I am expecting it to be well orchestrated 🤩😋
