What is the earliest time you can drop off your luggage at Port of Miami?

Trying to plan my drive down to Miami and in order to calculate what time to leave I need to know what time I can drop off my luggage at Terminal A. I am looking for the earliest time not some time later so I can decide if I want to leave super early or give myself a couple of hours extra sleep! Also I am not parking at the port, just dropping my luggage.

Have you called Port Miami ( 305.347.4800 yet)?

 

I haven't sailed out of Miami yet (we will in January) but common sense (and multiple departures from Port Everglades) leads me to believe that the porters are tied up with disembarking passengers until 9:30 or so.

I have dropped luggage off as early as around 9:00/AM/9:15 AM.

 

You just have to find a porter as they will be busy with people who are getting off the ship but in time you will find them and just emphasize you are boarding the ship and you will have no problems.
