Chefs table question

Considering booking this for our cruise in February.  Am also thinking about making a reservation for the Steakhouse.  Would like to do the Steakhouse on the first night (4 day cruise) for the bottle of wine discount.  Is chef's table held on a specific night of a 4 day cruise?  I'd like to book it online in advance but hard to plan if I don't know what night it's held,

you won't know the Chef's Table day until you board. The will be a note in your cabin giving day and time

You can stop by the Steakhouse upon embarking and ask the manager there.

Why? the note will be in your cabin and not sure the Steakhouse manager has anything to do with the chef's Table

As the Chef's table is billed through the Steakhouse, they likely will know the details.

 

That being said it is not likely to be on the 1st night.

My email confirmation for the Chef's Table told me it will happen on one of the full sea days with the actual date to be confirmed upon boarding. So, no it won't be on embarkation day, and it won't conflict with any port excursions.
