Birthday!! We live in Leucadia and see our Marines helicopters fly over the Ocean almost daily when we are outside enjoying the view from our home!

There is a Marine Corps Ball at MCRD, Camp Pendleton was on the news about it today!

Thanks for your  comments Denise.  I was stationed at Camp Pendleton for 8 months after returning from Korea in 1953.  The Marine Corps Ball has been celebrated annually  on November 10th at many places throughout the U.S.   Another great tradition of the Marine Corps.

Thank you for your service!! I was 1 when you returned from Korea! My dad was in the Army air Corp as a fighter pilot during that time. When I grew up he was in the reserves in the Air Force and was stationed in LongBeach  calif when I was little and then at March AFB. 
Thank you again this brings back memories for me👍

Happy Birthday to the USMC!  We had the pleasure of having a couple of Marines at our dinner table one cruise - they had interesting tales to tell, and were a delight to get to know.
