mamashamiller Posted November 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2019 Is this really going to be my cabin or can it change! I did sail away ov and got 11100 on bliss. Any thoughts?
StolidCruiser Posted November 13, 2019 #2 Share Posted November 13, 2019 Happens to me all the time. I have my cabin assignment before I hang up from my sail away booking call.
MeHeartCruising Posted November 13, 2019 #3 Share Posted November 13, 2019 My current 3 booked cruises are all Sailaway rates and all 3 had cabins assigned within 24 hours. None of them have been changed since then. However, I'm pretty certain NCL has the right to change them in the contract. But I bet they probably won't. I don't think YOU are allowed to call them to get it changed. However, you might give it a try, if that's what you want to do. The intent is that NCL gets to pick it, so I wouldn't count on you being able to change it yourself.

In heavy seas, you’ll get a lot of noise from the bow pounding the waves (and a lot of movement).

Maybe I’ll throw one in
Rare kjquilts Posted November 14, 2019 #6 Share Posted November 14, 2019 (edited) Here is a youtube video of Bliss 13110 which is also a connecting BD balcony. It is in the same location as your stateroom except two decks higher. Unfortunately it was dark outside when video was made so you don't see the view from the balcony. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5fpiGZrYCA This video shows the view on sister ship Norwegian Escape of starboard balcony 10714. Cabin is two staterooms closer to the elevators and one deck lower than 11110. The video also shows a high speed walk from the elevator. We have had far forward staterooms before and it wasn't a problem other than a little more walking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8a3-Mub_dY Edited November 14, 2019 by kjquilts

Rare kjquilts Posted November 14, 2019 #8 Share Posted November 14, 2019 OOPS original poster I am so sorry. BirdTravels is correct, you were assigned a forward facing oceanview stateroom and I posted not one but two balcony videos. I shouldn't post on CC when I'm tired. Here is a Youtube video of Forward Facing Oceanview stateroom 12100 on the Bliss, one deck above you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3N1S6E0OEw
