Best Things to Eat and Drink on Norwegian Encore?

Hi all!

I'm pulling together an article on Cruise Critic about the absolute best things to eat and drink on Norwegian Encore -- and would love your suggestions! I was on the ship when it was in New York a few weeks ago, and was able to dine at a few places (including Onda by Scarpetta -- yum!) But some of you have been on the ship for longer voyages, and so I'd love your input.

So how about it? What dining delights, specialty or complimentary, would you tell your friends and family not to miss? Any favorite cocktails onboard? (I love almost any of the spicier drinks from the Sugarcane Mojito bar!)

We were on the Encore Inaugural 2 Day in NYC as well - dined at Los Lobos and absolutely loved that they make the guacamole right next to your table. The Empanadas and Tacos were delicious!

We enjoyed Chocolate Martinis as well as Mudslides at the Observation Lounge Bar!

I can vouch for NCL's Espresso Martinis and Rebellious Fish, both are great cocktails. The mojitos from the mojito bar are also all pretty much great! If you want more of a desert beverage, go for the BBC, Bushwacker or Mudslide - they are essentially boozy milkshakes!

Burrata Salad

Pappardelle Bolognese (much better than the spaghetti basil)

Veal Chop Milanese

Butterscotch Budino (one of the best desserts I have ever had anywhere)

Q

Beef Brisket

Jalapeno Cheese Cornbread

THE LOCAL

Chicken Salad Sandwich

Burgers (huge and delicious!)

We had meals mostly in casual complimentary places this time.

Garden Cafe:

Pizza - thin crusted and lots of variety

Asian noodles station - freshly cooked lunch time

Indian station - the goat dish was delicious

Soft serve ice cream

The Local:

Reuben - and I asked for extra sauerkraut

Fish and chips - chips were so good
