Anyone know how to turn on DO NOT DISTURB?

Can anyone help? Butler doesn't know how to turn on do not disturb on cabin phone. Champagne bar called us multiple times at 4:55am this morning!!! Phone says Do not disturb - OFF but noone seems to know how to turn it on. Sorry about upside down photo

I can’t help with what you want but I can say with certainty that we would have unplugged the phone if possible.

The phones on Seaside Yacht Club were completely wacky in December.  Even the technician they sent said he didn't know how to fix the problem.

Or, maybe just leave it of the hook at times that you don't want to be bothered. *if they haven't fixed it yet.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Updated info. Phones cannot be put on a do not disturb for security reasons! It's a blocked function. Concierge suggested turning down phone, which wasn't very quiet. So a tech guy came and adjusted low vol setting. Butler said to unplug phone even though guests are not permitted to unplug phones for security reasons. They never found out how guest got into locked bar at 5am trying to phone us. They assured us that no way would a crew member use their access to enter a locked bar at 5am to call guests! Champagne bar claimed that it's not even their extension that the system is programmed and named incorrectly. It didn't happen again, thankfully.

We were on the Meraviglia Dec. 8-15 and I unplugged our phone every night.

I've never had my phone ring at night, but I would unplug it in a heartbeat if it did.  The phones on Seaside were totally screwed up in the beginning of the month.  Wrong guests assigned to wrong extensions.  I was allegedly some German woman.  With attendant German voice mails.  Did get the tech to erase those.  So I suspect it was another guest attempting to make that call to one of their friends.  Not the champagne bar.

 

The only way to reach someone else in YC was to call the concierge and have him connect you to the other party.  If you dialed their cabin number, you went to the wrong place.
