Geldankat Posted December 31, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2019 Hi all, Can anyone tell me how long the Culinary Arts Kitchen classes generally go? I'm trying to work out whether I can book a 10am class on the same day I have a shore excursion booked for early afternoon. Thank you!
DaveFr Posted December 31, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2019 In general, the culinary classes run from an hour and a half to two hours. You should not have a problem. Dave
Flgreg Posted December 31, 2019 #3 Share Posted December 31, 2019 The one we took in July was in the afternoon and was just under 2 hours.
Rare ronrick1943 Posted December 31, 2019 #4 Share Posted December 31, 2019 Yes, go ahead and book. You'll enjoy a lite lunch while you cook-after that go on your tour.

Hambagahle Posted January 1, 2020 #7 Share Posted January 1, 2020 How much you eat (or drink) is up to you. I don't like to eat outside of meal times as a rule but I do like to taste what I am making so I just eat a forkful or less You could see the class as an early lunch and then go off on your excursion. Just remember you will be on your feet for the 2 hours of the class. If your excursion is then walking, or predominantly walking, you might not like this. You can also tell the teacher you will have to leave early. That isn't a problem either...
Geldankat Posted January 2, 2020 Author #8 Share Posted January 2, 2020 OK, thanks again for all the input. I guess I'd prefer to take one of the classes on a sea day, but the only ones available start at 4pm and we already have 6:30 specialty restaurant reservations on both our sea days. Decisions, decisions!
