Oh in case anyone wants a cab when I got back I asked them what a cab to el faro would’ve costed they said $6.

I passed a couple of schools. They looked like prisons. Walls, bars, guard snacks, barbed wire, c-wire.

It's not a visit to Mazatlan for us without lunch in the Golden Zone and a pulmonia to get us there and back.

Walking up is free. Bathroom is 10 pescos (about 50 cents) and the glass bridge up top is also 10 pesos.

The first few parts of the walk are ramps up. I took some pictures Of the walk as well as the view along the way.

On the one looking up you can see cactus. The next set will be from up there.

They do have a few places on the way up where you can pose for pictures or take a break.

At this point my health app says I’ve gone up 10 floors. Seems a little higher than that to me.

They had water and Gatorade available for purchase. I brought my own.

This is the glass bridge. It was 10 pesos. They only let so many people out at a time and they were taking forever and there was a line. So I didn’t go.

According to my health app it was 1mile up and 28 floors.

The walk down was much easier. They had cabs down there but I enjoyed walking on flat ground again. Listened to Nirvana all the way back.

I decided to hire a driver to take me to see the cathedral and cliff divers. I flagged down Sergio and away we went.

 

Sergio asked if I had ever seen something like this back home. I said change those shoe shiners to artists and tarot card readers, Change that gazebo in the middle to Andrew Jackson, improve that fence a bit and it would be similar to Jackson square.
