Daniel A Posted February 27, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2020 I just checked the price of Carnival Corp stock. It was at $30 and change. Not so good for a lot of us, but it may be a good time to keep an eye on the stock if you were planning on making a purchase in order to qualify for shareholder OBC. I'm not really into the stock market so I am not making any suggestion about whether to buy or not, I'm just suggesting that it has gotten pretty low and is worth following. YMMV. suekay Posted March 19, 2020 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2020 I can't believe nobody replied to this after seeing the discussions on other boards. I thought Costa were part of Carnival Cruiselines?
gerryuk Posted March 19, 2020 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2020 Do shareholders qualify for OBC with Costa? I know they are the same company.
greg2014 Posted March 19, 2020 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2020 Yes. Having 100 shares of CCL you have right to receive OBC also on Costa ships. Value depending on cruise length. I use it for years. They will require fax (!) with details of your booking plus confirmation that you are owner of CCL shares. Fax only... Its percentage drop currently is just shy of the drop in 2008/2009.
