Thank you was just wondering if the problems noted were limited to one deck or rather scattered about the ship

It was our experience that it was all over the ship.  Our friends were on a different deck and got moved along with other cabins due to problems.   We spoke with a couple up on lido during our Victoria stop who told us their cabin had running water down their walls.....it sounded awful.

I got off the ship just a few days ago and saw nothing of which you are referring to, nor heard about it from anyone else.

We were on deck 8, Emerald deck, port side forward in October 2019. We were on 10 days and things did not improve at all.   Buckets in the hallway, water dripping multiple places from the ceiling.  Smelled quite bad.  We did not have running water down our walls but we overheard several customers advising room stewards that water was running down their walls.  We didn’t do a review on cruise critic but we thought this was our worst accommodation on any cruise ship.  We were with our daughter, in a room for three and there was no other cabin for us.

At the meet and greet, a "stripe" said it would be going in 2021.

Which is when it is scheduled to; late 2021.

I was on Deck 10, Caribe, 5 days ago. No smells, no leaks, never heard any complaints from anyone about such problems.

We were on the Star November 2019 for a cruise to HI.  Our cabin was on the Caribe deck aft.  We did not see or hear about any of the issues raised here.  Interesting to read about others experiences.  The Star is going to P&O Australia where it will be rehabed and renamed.  Do not expect them to spend a lot of money on it at this late date.
