thanks for the info.....so it's the same as the solarium on royal

The Sanctuary is a mostly outdoor area where you reserve a specific lounge. It really isn't a solarium, as I define it. It isn't enclosed. The cost is $20/half day, $40/full day or $30/day if reserved for every port and sea day of the cruise. For tropical cruises the Sanctuary is popular. You have to go there directly on boarding to select and reserve.  There have never been pre-cruise reservations. The Sky Princess does have a round hot tub in the Sanctuary.

The Retreat Pool area (no charge) is a smallish outdoor adult pool area with normal lounge chairs open to any adult. The lounges are the same as the chairs around the main Lido pools and the decks above. There isn't much shade except the shade provided by the ship's structure. There is a bar. On the deck above, no shade, there are additional lounges and two hot tubs.

Which Princess ships have a solarium; which is completely enclosed?  Thanks

Older ships, Grand, Star, Island, Coral, Diamond, Sapphire have indoor pools and conservatory above. The Majestic also has an enclosed indoor pool.
