Indy 9/10/20 (because I was bored)

I have a casino comp cabin on Indy September 10, 2020.  Yesterday, I was bored, so I counted up the unsold cabins.  Final payment day is next week sometime.  As of yesterday, there were 326 cabins unsold- about 18%.  Will be interesting to see how that number changes after final payment is due.  At this point, if she sails, there doesn't look to be too many chair hogs by the pool!   If she sails., I will be on her.  If she doesn't, I am not losing money, since I didn't pay for the cruise, and would get an airfare credit from Southwest and Cruise Planner purchases back.

 

Really hope she sails- I need a break!

That you can see online - the real number could be different.

True and I didn't count accessible cabins, either.  I would assume a "real" number would be higher

I much prefer threads like this over the "doom and gloom" of late.  Wishing you luck on your sailing.  Take care of Indy.  I'm booked for 1/24/21.  Last cruised on her over Thanksgiving in 2018.  I still prefer a lot of Freedom class over Oasis class ships.

the "unsold" cabins could be the cabins where you let royal pick.  One day you'll see 18% available, and then suddenly none are available.

i choose the "i pick" option- that ought to give me all cabins

you are looking at about 60% full!  not very many suites left, so must have been a popular cruise for the"free junior suite" promo the casino ran!  have fun- hope she sails!

right, you can see all of the available cabins, but if you see 250 cabins and 200 have been sold as royal picks, really there are only 50 cabins left, the 200 just haven't been assigned.

We were paid in full for a boardwalk balcony. Then got a prime offer for an Oceanview (we barely made prime) upgraded to a oceanview balcony and got $1500 back and some freeplay.
