5 Day Hold

I was doing a mock booking for a cruise next April. My private fare rate included grats, sig beverage pack, sig dining package, and internet for suites. I was surprised when I saw the courtesy hold was five days. Good to know, as my cc closes on Friday.

Are to referring to when you will receive your future cruise credit?  I was able to book a cruise for Oct 2021 with a pending FCC. The HAL representative removed the deposit due date for this cruise and annotated my file that I was awaiting a FCC.  I called back the next day and spoke with another rep who confirmed this had been done.

I already used my FCC for a July cruise. This was just a normal booking. Doing a five day hold allowed me to hold the cabin until my cc closes on Friday. Hoping April is not too premature.

Wishing you good luck on April being a go. I wonder when the usual 2 day hold became 5. Being able to push payment into the next cc window is always nice.
