Since it's coming to the west coast we were looking at the deck plans and we did not see a sanctuary, are we missing it? Thanks in advance.

Unless they change their policy, it is free and adults only and located just forward of the covered Retreat Pool. It is the best layout of any of the Royal Class ships.

Majestic Princess does not have a Sanctuary. They have the Hollywood Conservatory.

Since when has the Sanctuary (or its equivalent) been free on any Princess ship?

There isn’t a Sanctuary but a free area instead. It does have cabanas for hire I believe. Think the Majestic will be good for Alaska given the covered pool.

Only problem we found with it on a cloudy day it was very cool in there but when the sun was shining it was stifling.

It was free on the Majestic Princess in Australia and the cabanas were also free, first come first served.

Thanks that is a big minus for us because we love the sanctuary on the Royal and Regal.
