Where was I?

I think I saw at least 3 different stepped locks in Scotland. Then there was the Falkirk Wheel which is amazing and replaced a series of 11 locks.

The Falkirk Wheel is incredible.  We were so lucky.  We stopped by on our way to Fort William, too early for its opening time.  The Operator, Stuart (of course),  was also early, and recognised our accents.  He said he’d spent several happy years in Oz.  He switched on the entire operation and gave us a private demonstration.  We felt so lucky and grateful.  Amazing engineering ahead of its time.

Could it be the new Fitzroy Crossing Bridge that replaced the old collapsed one?

Correct, took that pic in late August last year as we where heading to Broome.

Old bridge got washed away in January 23 they started new one in May 23
and had it opened in December 23, just goes to show you what they can do when they put there mind to it and get in and do something got it opened 6 months in ahead of schedule

Mirboo, Vic.

Close enough. The town is actually Mirboo North a few kms away. It has murals, started a "Spoonsville" during Covid. They also have a bronze sculpture of that iconic photo of the firefighter giving a koala a drink in the Black Saturday bushfires in 2009. That took place a few kms north of the town. Didn't know that until I stumbled across it.

Yor turn

Not Sheffield but it seems to have some great murals to look at if you are down that way.

I was lucky enough to be there just a couple of  months ago 👍
