my kids mama Posted October 13, 2020 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2020 Hello? Anyone out there? We have a cruise booked for January 2022. I know it's a long time from now. Thought it has been too long since we have had a conversation. How are you doing? What are your thoughts? Let's just talk.

Even if it gets cancelled, it's nice to have something to look forward to. N ever been there before, always wanted to go. Took advantage of a casino offer from Carnival. Fingers crossed! Markanddonna Posted November 5, 2020 #5 Share Posted November 5, 2020 We are booked to cruise April 2, 2022 and will visit Australia before that. We needed something to look forward to!
Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted November 6, 2020 #6 Share Posted November 6, 2020 For your sake. Markanddonna, I hope you are able to go on the cruise you have booked however there are two issues in play: 1 - when will cruising recommence in our region? 2 - when will visitors from the US be allowed into either country? We are hoping cruising will restart mid-2021 but initial cruises may be restricted to Australians and/or NZers depending on where the cruise departs from. Whether visitors from overseas (especially the US) will be allowed will depend on how their home country is handling the pandemic, and whether a vaccine is available and being widely used in that country. If there is any doubt I suspect our borders will remain firmly shut to visitors from that country.
Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted November 7, 2020 #7 Share Posted November 7, 2020 My March 2020 New Zealand cruise was cancelled, so I rolled the FCC into a January 2021 cruise. No way that is going to happen and with New Zealand being the strictest country in the world about Covid, I'm not going to rebook until they are actually open for business. Looking at Patagonia for January 2022 now rather than New Zealand.
