We got an incredible "Casino Fare" rate for Alaska Cruises in May. Like $899 for a Neptune Suite w/ a $200 credit!

Should I book it?

I actually got mixed response's from people in the know about perhaps waiting to see.

Carnival Corporation is apparently bleeding through cash and there was talk among some insiders that if they go bankrupt, we may all be holding the bag.

Any thoughts out there from Cruise Critic Holland America lovers, like us?

We would do it,  but we were on one of the last Holland cruises in March of 2020. We got upgraded to a Neptune suite because others bailed out.  It was a very nice way to travel!

I wouldn’t revise your packing list for the aforementioned May cruise IMHO.

CCL’s future financial viability has been the ‘Elephant in the Room’ for some time now regarding CC non-discussions. Me thinks it’s just the attitudes of hopeful posters.

Gosh, I hope I’m so wrong in regard to the consolidation & disappearance of, perhaps, HAL and other lines. We’ll see within the next 16 months or so how it “all shakes out”.

Lot’s of chatter regarding vaccinations but there’s plenty of realistic obstacles (logistical & medical) to be dealt with prior to ‘normal’ embarkations & enjoying cruising once again.

On a more positive note, may your Holiday Season be memorable for enjoying family, friends & future planning.

Be well.

Bob
