WonderMan3 Posted December 21, 2020 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2020 Has anyone been able to get any suite discounts on Apex through Blue Chip Club for 2021 or 2022 cruises? I mean the 20-40% discounts they give to BCC members NOT one of the free cruise offers that include no perks. Standardly Blue Chip puts a block on discounts for new ships for about a year or until the next ship launches but since I've been hearing about people getting free cabin offers on Apex I was wondering if they were offering the suite discounts too. And yes, I know I can call and ask but if someone has a quick answer here it would save me calling and wasting a reps time if it's a definite no. fluffybunny22 Posted December 21, 2020 #2 Share Posted December 21, 2020 I had a free balcony offer that included perks and Apex. By the time I called there weren't any cabins left on the sailing I wanted. I'm not even sure how we qualified for a free cruise because my husband only gambles a couple of hundred dollars a cruise. zdad59 Posted December 23, 2020 #3 Share Posted December 23, 2020 (edited) I was able to do it by accident. I had a deeply discounted Blu chip cruise booked on Edge for April 2021. I just did a lift and Shift this week to an Apex sailing in April 2022. They honored my suite, in fact got the identical room on Apex that I had booked on Edge. And they honored my price, which is $6000 lower than the prevailing web site rate for the same room. So while not a direct book using casino club to Apex, we got there. There are several partnerships with the most popular being MLife/MGM.
