Is there really a bad Neptune suite as far as block view or somthing

was thinking about letting them assign me one to save some money don’t don’t want to if I may get a bad room with a bad view.

is there a chance with the type of room or are they all good just a difference of front mid and aft

thanks

What is "good" or "bad" obviously varies by person.  On the Eurodam there are two types of cabins that may or may not be to a person's liking.

First are the "aftwraps" on decks 4-8.  Some people LOVE these cabins due to the larger balconies and the greater viewing, especially on scenic cruises, but the cabin area is a bit smaller than the other Neptunes and it is a further walk to the Neptune Lounge and most of the ship.

Second are the 4 Neptunes adjacent to the midship outside elevators, since their balconies (part of) can be seen from people on the elevators.

I do not think any of the Neptunes on the ship have a "bad" view.

So, if neither of these things are an issue for you, go for the guarantee.

Agree...what is "bad" is going to vary tremendously. The only ones we consider "bad" are the ones next to the outside glass elevator, for privacy reasons.

Its a suite...none are going to have bad views. One deck down from the Neptune Lounge is, at worse, a minor issue..the aft suites are even further. But that doesn't matter to us. You are burning a couple extra calories...and that is a good thing.

Concur about avoiding the 4 suites that are adjacent to the midship elevators for privacy on the verandah.  That said, we've stayed in 6086 which is the second one aft of the midship elevators on Deck 6.  Elevator passengers can't see your verandah and it's easy-peasy to use the stairs (or elevator) to get to or from the Neptune Lounge ... in our opinion, much closer, quicker, and easier than from those aft corner suites.

I'd also avoid any of the 6 adjoining suites since you lose wall space and can potentially gain more noise from your neighbors.

thanks for your help  actually with the credits from canceled i have plenty for any room so I am looking around the neptune lounge is there a room number that is bigger balcony or bigger indside cabin on deck 7?  Also if the room is real close like next to the lounge is it noisy?  Will need one inside room also so did not know if there noisy right next to the lounge

@golfer1903  since nobody else mentioned it, in answer to your question about noise near the Neptune Lounge, yes, there can be noise if your door is directly across from one of the 4 entrance doors or the door into the Lounge’s prep/dishwashing area.  We spent a month in 7060 and noticed loud talkers and the occasional door shutting loudly.  Don’t know how long your cruise is so that might not be an issue if your only on for a week vs something longer.

DH and I have had 6 Neptunes out of 10 HAL cruises and the one we totally disliked was an aft Neptune on the Oosterdam. It was assigned to us - had to book a Guarantee Neptune in order to get a cheap casino rate, the other five Neptunes were our choosing. The aft Neptune was much smaller that the regular Neptunes with the same amount of furniture so we were always bumping into something. It was so far from everything including the Neptune Lounge. Would never book another Neptune, or other cabin type, as a Guarantee.

We have also had a Neptune by the mid-elevators and didn't mind a small lack of privacy. Didn't really notice it actually.

Haven't sailed on the Eurodam, so maybe her aft Neptunes are not smaller like those on the Oosterdam.
