39august Posted January 28, 2021 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2021 Someone posted on the Celebrity forum that there is a new travel policy now. Didn't mention what the changes are. Does anyone have that information, please? I formerly had a hard copy of RCI's insurance, and I have kept a printable copy of Celebrity's policy on line for reference. Jersey42 Posted February 3, 2021 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2021 (edited) You can download the new documents here: https://www.archinsurancesolutions.com/coverage/Celebrity From a quick glance I noticed a few changes. CFAR upped to 90% from 75%. Still in the form of a future cruise credit. Medical upped from $10K to $25K. Still too low in my opinion. Medical evac upped from $25K to $50K. Trip interruption increased from 100% to 150%. 150% is typical of many third party policies. Changes in baggage limits. cheeseheads4ever Posted April 1, 2021 #4 Share Posted April 1, 2021 I’ve posted this on Celebritys site but this may be a better place to ask. Has anyone booked a cruise through the Blue Chip Club (Casino) and got a great offer but were then told after asking about travel insurance they said they couldn’t offer travel insurance because we got such a good deal? This doesn’t make sense. What’s the difference if you pay $500 for a cruise or $10,000 you may for coverage on the value of the cruise. Right? Do you have any recommendations on a good travel insurance company? Thanks for all your input.
